Die internetverbinding was so stadig, ek sou 'n driewiel vinniger Kaap toe kon ry. They sucked us dry and spat us out.
My personal epilogue - Lodie
Ethiopia and I still cannot connect like I've done with the black states south of here.
For the second successive year I feel frustrated. Ethiopia has so much to offer. There are many wonderful people. But still, I have not experienced anywhere a country where the tourist is so blatantly exploited by being offered an inferior service while at the same time charging excessive prices.
I get the feeling that that is the going rate while dealing with tourists. Let the suckers pay.
Ethiopia and the tourist industry in this country have to wake up.
